Lubbers Logistics Group (LLG) has further expanded its network with a new strategically located operations centre in Istanbul, Turkey.
Istanbul, the historic hub that connects the continents of Europe and Asia, is an important new location for Lubbers as the group continues its policy of incremental growth, based on continued strong customer demand within the oil and gas industry.
Lubbers’ Director Sales & Marketing CEU André Mulder said: “I am delighted that we have finally opened our new base here in Turkey. Lubbers has operated in the region for several years and has established strong links with local contractors, but the time is right to increase our visibility in this very important market.”
Operations manager Mark Besselink and sales manager Kees Cramer, who have overseen Lubbers’ successful Romanian operation, which now has bases in Ploesti and Constanta, will lead lubbers in Turkey. The company will also employ local Turkish staff in Istanbul.
