LLOG Exploration Co.

LLOG Exploration Company reports the following new hires, appointments and promotions.

James (Randy) Pick has joined LLOG Exploration as its Managing Director - Acquisitions and Divestitures. With over 30 years experience in the energy industry, Randy has held management positions with independent and major oil and gas companies in the areas of acquisitions and divestitures, business development, corporate planning, economics, engineering,

investor relations, marketing and supply chain management. Prior to joining LLOG, Randy was the Director of Business Planning and Development for ENI Petroleum Company. Randy has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from Tulane University.

Michael Altobelli has been promoted to Vice President - Land. Since 2007, Mike has served as GOM Deepwater Land Manager in LLOG’s Houston office. For the last 20 years, Mike has worked the Gulf of Mexico holding various land positions with Enserch Exploration, Mariner Energy and Newfield Exploration. Mike graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Petroleum Land Management and Finance.

John Doughtie has been promoted to Vice President – Exploration for LLOG’s Houston office. Since joining LLOG in 2002, John has worked and managed several exploration and production projects throughout the Gulf Coast onshore and Gulf of Mexico. With over 26 years of industry experience, John was President of Linder-Doughtie Energy prior to joining LLOG. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from University of Oklahoma in May 1984.

Philip LeJeune has been promoted to Vice President of Planning and Budgeting for LLOG. Since joining LLOG in 1997, Philip has held various positions in the marketing, production accounting, A&D and planning departments. Prior to joining LLOG, Philip was a senior at Arthur Andersen in the tax department focusing on oil & gas taxation. Philip received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University and his MBA from Loyola University.

Scott Gutterman, LLOG’s President and Chief Executive Officer, stated, “These changes and additions to LLOG’s management structure recognize the accomplishments and abilities of these gentlemen and points LLOG to continued success through their respective efforts.”
