Linc Energy Ltd. provided an update on the drilling operations in the Arckaringa Basin in South Australia. The Eba 1 vertical exploration well (PEL121) is the second of the three well program and is expected to be completed in approximately 12 days at an expected total depth of approximately 8,202 feet (2,500 meters).

As at 16:00hrs Jan. 13, the main hole rig was drilling ahead in the pre-Permian Formation at a depth of 5,925 feet (1,806 meters). The drilling has been slow since intersecting the pre-Permian, averaging 6.5 - 19.6 feet (2 - 6 meters) per hour due to hard and abrasive sediments.
