Leni Gas & Oil announces that the Ministry of Energy and Energy Affairs have given approval to commence drilling at the Company's 100% owned and operated Goudron Field (Field) in Trinidad and the Well Services Petroleum Company Limited (Well Services) Rig 20 is being mobilised to the Field. The first well is expected to spud shortly after the Easter holiday.
The access roads have now been upgraded and all other necessary facilities are in place to receive the rig. Production operations will be largely unaffected by the drilling with approximately 70 reactivated wells contributing to ongoing production.
