Kentz Corporation Limited is pleased to announce the award of a project management consultancy services contract with Transnet, for work on elements of the New Multi-Product Pipeline (NMPP) Project in South Africa. This award brings the total value of work to the Group with Transnet to over US$30m.
Kentz (Pty) Ltd will provide project management consultancy services and support to Transnet across a full multi-discipline scope. The contract will be executed through the EPC business unit.
Kentz has mobilised an integrated project management, engineering and completions/ commissioning support team utilising its in-house resource capacity from South Africa and its international offices, with a dedicated project management office in Johannesburg, supported by its "Engineering Centres of Excellence" in the Middle East. Project staff are expected to peak at approximately 250 staff when all scope streams are at full capacity.
