Kentz Corporation Limited announce the award of Phase 2 of the Moatize Coal Mining Project by multinational mining and metals corporation Vale in Tete Province Mozambique. The project, being one of the largest coal mining operations on the African continent, is welcome progress for the mining sector in sub-Saharan Africa.
In 2009, Kentz was awarded Phase 1 of the Moatize Coal Processing Plant which became the company's flagship project on the African continent, where significant infrastructure developments were made to develop the production of coal products in Mozambique.
