Karim Amin, 36, became the head of the Siemens Oil&Gas (SOG) sales unit on February 1, 2014. He has been managing Siemens Energy Service with over 1,000 employees since 2011, and was responsible for business operations in the Middle East and in North Africa.
Karim Amin studied at Cairo University and received his degree in electrical engineering in 2000. In 2011 he earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Warwick Business School in Great Britain. Amin has been employed at Siemens since 2001; during this time, he has occupied a variety of management positions in the areas of strategy, sales, and marketing. Amin speaks fluent Arabic and English as well as German.
