ITF has appointed Brian Mercer, innovation manager at Production Services Network (PSN) to its board of directors.

As a non-executive director of the ITF board, Mr. Mercer will be responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of the organization in line with the objectives set by its members.

In his current role at PSN, Mr. Mercer is responsible for identifying areas of the business where innovation -- both work practice and technology -- can be successfully implemented to continually improve and differentiate PSN's service to clients.

Neil Poxon, managing director for ITF said, "Brian's role within PSN is closely aligned to ITF's remit. His expertise fits very well with the input we need from a board member and I am confident he will play a key role in our future development. As ITF continues to grow its international membership it is essential that we can call upon senior industry experience and knowledge to provide strategic direction that is in the best interest of all our members."
