Intertek has announced the successful completion of the transaction to acquire Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI), under which Hi-Tech Testing Services, Inc. (Hi-Tech), a provider of non-destructive testing (NDT) services in the U.S. and part of PSI, will join Intertek’s Industry Services business line.

Hi-Tech offers NDT services to the oil and gas market, primarily for the mid-stream operational/pipeline sectors, and also supports customers in the pulp and paper, railcar, fabrication, chemical and transportation industries.
