Ikon Science has signed a partnership agreement with the UK based information management solution company FUSE IM to develop and support a new breed of Open knowledge management system for rock physics and associated data.

The first version of the product will be commercially available in December 2013, under the brand name RokDoc MetaStore™. The development is funded in part by major Ikon Science customers, who have actively participated in the scoping of the project to address their pressing need to capture, reference and make available to their geoscientists and engineers a wide range of rock property data together with the business-critical knowledge generated by Ikon Science's flagship software platform RokDocQED & other sources.
