Ikon Science adds new RokDoc® SDC Plug-in for Petrel

Ikon Science has added the new RokDoc® SDC Plug-in for Petrel to its portfolio of existing tools on the Ocean platform, bringing a total of seven RokDoc plug-ins now available. This latest addition strengthens the position of Ikon Science as one of only three Ocean Certified Partner vendors, and confirming a track record in bringing expert domain knowledge and high-quality plug-ins to the E&P subsurface community.

Before undertaking any seismic based pre or post stack inversion process it is crucial to make sure that input seismic is fit for purpose. The RokDoc SDC plug-in provides a comprehensive range of functions that allow users to interrogate their pre and post stack seismic data and apply efficient workflows to condition gathers, and then QC and realize the new products.

SDC workflows are carried out on-the-fly and can be customized and examined at every step.
Seismic Data Conditioning joins the existing Rock Physics Workflows, Cross-plotter, 2D Modeling, Extended Elastic Impedance, Colored Inversion and Bayesian Classification RokDoc Plug-ins for Petrel. Expert users needing to perform more comprehensive workflows may also access the full integrated RokDoc suite through Ikon’s Petrel Interconnector.
