Icon Energy provide an update in relation to the drilling of the Halifax1 well in ATP 855P, located in the Cooper Basin, Queensland.
Beach Energy Ltd (the Operator) has advised that the Halifax-1 well has reached a drilled depth of 2,878 metres in 8 ½' hole.
Since last advice to the market on 23 August the well has drilled a further 267 metres and has intersected formation tops as identified. The 9 5/8' casing was set at 2608 metres as per the drilling program.
