Hydro Group Showcases Subsea Connector to US Market

Hydro Group took a technological lead when it launched the 36KV Dry Mate connector into the offshore energy systems market last year.

The Aberdeen, Scotland headquartered group aims to further penetrate the US energy market by showcasing the 36KV Dry Mate connector, along with the group’s extensive product offerings, at the Subsea Tieback Forum and Exhibition in San Antonio, Texas USA next month [March]

Doug Whyte, Hydro Group managing director, said: “The new connector is a significant advance on our previous product with an impressive reduction in installation time from 24 hours to less than 12 hours, and its ability to carry three times more power.
