Hutton Energy's Polish subsidiary, Strzelecki Energia Sp. z o.o, is pleased to announce the completion of 2D seismic acquisition over three Jurassic license areas (Kolo, Poddebice and Lodz Zachod) located in Central Poland.
The company performed this seismic acquisition program along with United Oilfield Services. A total of 250 line kilometres of high resolution seismic data has been acquired, adding to the existing 1420 line kilometres of legacy 2D seismic data across the licenses.
This 2D seismic program has been designed as a part of the 'Jurashale' Project for which Hutton entered into partnership with the Polish Academy of Science (PAN) and created a research consortium with the Institute of Geological Sciences (ING PAN) and the Institute of Geophysics (IGF PAN). This program was recognized by National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR) and was awarded a government grant.
