Hawkley Oil & Gas provides an update on Sorochynska 202 well test and planned gas plant commissioning.
• Upper B18 flows at commercial rates
• Successful installation of inflatable packer
• Initial well test on a narrow (4mm) choke to maintain downhole pressure during the clean out process
• During that period the well flowed at a calculated rate of 0.9mmscfgpd while the clean out process continues
• Expectations are that the well will be bought into production with an increased choke size, and commensurate increase in
• flow rate
• Extended production testing over next few weeks to establish optimal choke size and stabilized flow rate projections concurrent with preparations to bring the well into production
• Once the upper B18 horizon is drained at this location the packer can be removed to open up the lower B18 horizon
• Flow line currently being laid for connection of both 201 and 202 to Hawkley's owned and operated gas processing plant
• Commissioning of the plant expected mid-February
Sorochynska-202
