Greene's Energy Group names Bolds Chief Legal Counsel

Greene’s Energy Group (GEG) has named Lance Bolds Chief Legal Counsel, GEG Chief Executive Officer Bob Vilyus announced.

Bolds joins GEG from Global Industries Offshore, LLC, where he was employed as an In-House Senior Legal Counsel. Based in Houston, Bolds will provide general counsel for Greene’s Energy Group, LLC, operations worldwide.

He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and licensed to practice before all state courts in Texas in addition to the Southern District Court in Houston. He has more than 15 years of combined business and legal experience in dealing with an array of matters particular to complex infrastructure and offshore oil and gas construction projects.

“The breadth of Lance’s expertise and experience in handling and negotiating international contracts is impressive and will serve a great purpose for Greene’s,” said Vilyus. “We are all pleased to have him on board and utilize his talents.”

Bolds holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Law and American Jurisprudence from the University of Houston- Clear Lake and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from South Texas College of Law. He is a participating member of the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA).
