Greene’s Energy Group

Greene’s Energy Group has acquired the assets of Production System Specialists (PSS), announced CEO Bob Vilyus. PSS is located near Lafayette, La. and does business in the Gulf Coast region, but plans to expand into the Marcellus, Bakken and Eagle Ford areas in the near future.

The acquisition will expand services in Greene’s newly formed Commissioning and Specialty Services Division to include dehydration, nitrogen and glycol services – eliminating the need for services provided by a third party.

“For Greene’s Energy Group, the acquisition of this company fits into our strategic plan and not only connects us with a broader facility customer base, but also improves our technical capabilities,” said Vilyus.

“Greene’s is a company with skilled employees that is known and respected in the market,” said PSS owner Robert McGrew. “Joining Greene’s gives PSS the ability to take our products and services to the next level.”

McGrew, who will serve as director of Greene’s Production System Specialists, has 45 years of experience in engineering, design, construction, installation and maintenance of process equipment and glycol dehydration. McGrew owned Pressure Equipment Controls inc. for 17 years before starting Production System Specialists in 1996.
