FoundOcean

FoundOcean has agreed a three-way strategic alliance with Tamboritha and IEV.

The agreement means FoundOcean will be one of the first in its field to focus on Australia. Subsea conditions around the coast, including varying water depths and extremely rocky seabed, demand substantial pipeline support and maintenance – one of FoundOcean's core strengths. The company's long-standing experience in these services and its established service base in Batam Island near Singapore mean the company is well placed for a number of significant offshore construction projects due to take place in Australia in the next few years.

Jim Bell, FoundOcean's Managing Director said, "Australia is a key market for FoundOcean in its continuing international expansion, and our agreement with Tamboritha and IEV puts us in an excellent position to become more involved in the area. Our current success in South East Asia is a result of our technical expertise and equipment, coupled with IEV's support, logistics and understanding of the market. In Australia, in addition we'll have the benefit of Tamboritha’s logistics and relationships with local customers, giving us a very strong position in the market."
