Exprodat understands that exploration departments within oil and gas companies are under huge pressure to better understand opportunities and make better exploration decisions. The recently released version 222 of Exploration Analyst is a key tool for people tasked with these crucial activities.
Exploration Analyst v222, which supports Esri’s latest version of ArcGIS for Desktop (10.3.1), provides a host of new tools for exploration staff to improve their play assessment analyses. The enhancements have in a large part been driven by customer feedback along with industry best practice.
Exprodat’s Technical Director Chris Jepps explains more about the new release and the benefits it will bring to staff working within E&P departments; “The primary focus of the latest release of Exploration Analyst is on extending and enhancing its yet-to-find tools by firstly providing more flexibility and secondly by streamlining analyses across multiple areas. The release also adds further resource analysis tools such as the ability to analyse feature densities and discovered pools by hydrocarbon phase.
