Australian oil and gas company Titan Energy Ltd announces commercial production on the second well of the 2015 multi-well developmental drilling program on JT Reese Lease of Allen Dome.
JT Reese #15 on production
In the first 72 hours of flow testing the well produced an initial flush rate of 235 barrels (78 BOPD) of 100% high gravity (43°) oil at 300psi on a 10/64 choke. The producing Miocene sand with 31% porosity and 650 millidarcies of permeability was perforated across a five-foot section from 3976 to 3981 feet.
This is a single zone of 7 oil bearing pay zones across approximately 35 feet of net pay as defined by wireline logging and sidewall cores.
Ranger Energy Services are now working to install a sand control screen and gravel pack on the well.
