Cooper Energy Limited says that Sensation-1, an oil exploration well located in PRL 98, Cooper Basin, South Australia, is being plugged and abandoned after reaching a total depth of 6,355 feet (1,937 meters) in the Merrimelia Formation.
No oil shows were recorded in the well. Cooper Energy Limited holds a 25 percent interest in PRL 98, with the balance held by the Operator, Beach Energy Limited.
