Norwegian based subsea operations company DOF Subsea has enhanced its management team to strengthen the company's focus on the renewable energy sector and to further utilise DOF Subsea's current and future construction fleet of vessels. The company has appointed Kevin Moran as Vice President of Renewables.
Formerly Strategy and Business Development Director for Wood Group Renewable Energy Services, Kevin will be focusing on developing and growing the offshore renewable energy business within DOF Subsea and its sister companies. He will be working with the range of existing offshore capabilities within the DOF Group to provide owners, developers and operators with competent technical solutions for the offshore renewable sector.
Commenting on the appointment DOF Subsea Atlantic, Executive Vice President Duncan MacPherson says:
'We have now achieved our objective to get a highly experienced vice president of renewables in place, which will enable DOF Subsea to further develop its capabilities as a subsea project orientated business.'
DOF Subsea provides Project Management, Engineering, Subsea Construction, IRM, Survey and ROV services. The company employs over 1,200 highly qualified staff and owns state of the art equipment including offshore construction, diving and ROV support vessels, ROVs, 1 AUV and diving spreads.
