Hari Vamadevan has been appointed as DNV GL’s regional manager for UK and Southern Africa as the company looks to establish itself as the leading technical advisor to the oil and gas industry.
Mr Vamadevan was previously DNV’s UK regional manager and the new role will see him head up 13 oil and gas related offices throughout the UK. The number of staff in the country has doubled from 400 to 800.
Mr Vamadevan said: “I am delighted to be taking on this role at a very exciting time for DNV GL. We are able to offer more products and services and have the expertise to provide oil and gas companies and engineering contractors with a second-to-none management and technical advisory service, drawing on the expertise of the legacy companies.”
