DNV and Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. (COOEC), a leading engineering company in China, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The agreement illustrates that the cooperation between the two leading coi guess mpanies has entered a new level.

Under the agreement, DNV and COOEC will further extend the cooperation in offshore and onshore oil and gas related fields, especially in the areas of technology research and development in deepwater pipeline & riser technology, as well as drilling and production floater technology.

The agreement was signed by COOEC President Jiang Xizhao and DNV Vice President and Area Chair for Greater China Joerg Beiler.

"COOEC and DNV have a long-term relationship. We have cooperated on a number of projects in offshore and onshore oil and gas related areas. The signing of the agreement demonstrates that our cooperation has reached a new milestone," Mr. Jiang Xizhao said, adding that "this strategic cooperation between COOEC and DNV will benefit all parties involved in the offshore and onshore oil and gas area, as well as the entire energy supply chain."
