Following a successful launch last year, decommissioning industry body Decom North Sea (DNS) will deliver its first training course in Norwich on 30 April and 1 May, sharing their vast offshore decommissioning experience with the east of England.
The two-day interactive course, delivered in partnership with Decomareus Ltd, will give participants an overview and understanding of the key issues across a decommissioning project, utilising lessons learned from the broad decommissioning experience the trainers have gained from their combined 105 years in the industry.
Recognising the skill base in the Norwich area, in particular the growing number of people with transferable skills entering the oil and gas industry, DNS designed the course for anyone working in, connected to or with an interest in decommissioning, including operators, contractors, regulators and the financial services sector.
