Corvus Energy has announced that it has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for its global operations, manufacturing and service processes. A recent audit covered ISO9001:2008 requirements and ISO 9001:2015 transition requirements. The scope of this certification includes design, development, manufacturing and services for lithium-ion based energy storage systems (ESS).
“We are pleased that we have achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification of our design, manufacturing and service processes,” states Neil Lang, COO and General Manager North America at Corvus Energy. “Corvus has always maintained a very high level of quality management systems. Going through the certification process has allowed us to enhance our operations and processes even further, resulting in even greater collaboration across all Corvus departments.”
Lang adds, “Focusing our business and products on the demanding requirements of the maritime industries which are adopting energy storage systems, we understand the need for the high quality and reliable solutions expected by our customers. For a large marine vessel depending solely on a Corvus ESS for its power, everything that goes into producing that solution must be of the highest quality. We believe that achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification will enable Corvus to exceed the requirements of our markets, and allow Corvus to scale to meet the growing global demand for Corvus energy storage systems.”
