TransAtlantic announces delay in testing South Gillock well

TransAtlantic Petroleum Corp. announces that testing of the SGU #96 well on the Company's South Gillock property in Galveston County, Texas has been delayed.

Completion difficulties have been encountered due to the high pressure environment at total depth and the Company is working carefully to overcome these challenges.

The Company now anticipates it will be early May before it has initial test results.
