Offshore engineering constractors Subsea 7 and Technip of Norway and France have dissolved their Pacific Joint Venture aimed at providing construction services across Australasia.

The Norway- and Paris-based companies had collaborated on large construction projects and formed the company in 2006.

The now defunct company TS7 successfully executed the Stybarrow, Donghae, Kikeh and Vincent projects for BHP, KNOC, Murphy and Woodside.

“With the expected continued growth of the deepwater subsea construction market in the region, the parties now wish to pursue separate strategic development opportunities, but this does not exclude working together on a case-by-case basis on future projects,” a statement Monday said.
