SpotSee, a global provider of shock and vibration monitoring through low-cost connectivity and data and parent to established brands such as ShockWatch, ShockLog, SpotBot and OpsWatch, has announced that Ted Harvey has been named vice president of global operations. Harvey is highly qualified with more than 25 years of experience in operations and financial management in automotive, electronics, aerospace and commercial industries.

In his role, Harvey will oversee the company’s global operations including development of regional manufacturing hubs for reducing delivered costs and superior customer service. Harvey will supervise production, quality assurance, shipping, manufacturing engineering and purchasing.
Before joining SpotSee, Harvey was the director of operational excellence for Superior Industries, director of operations for Club Car Golf Carts and the Trane Operational Excellence Value Stream Coach for Ingersoll Rand. Harvey has also held management roles with Briggs & Stratton Corporation, Inc., Consolidated Diesel Company, Inc., Servitech Industries, Inc., Robertshaw Controls, Co. (division of Siebe) and Union Forging Co. (division of United Industrial Syndicate).
