PEMEX confirms heavy the deep water petroleum presence-Spotlight

Mexican oil company Pemex has hired a joint-venture of ICA Fluor and Linde Process Plants to build a key plant at Poza Rica gas processing plant in Veracruz State, a $268-million project award.

The ICA Fluor joint venture is Iraq contractor Fluor Corp. of Irving Texas and Mexican engineering giant Empresas ICA.

ICA Fluor and Linde will engineer, procure for, build, test and start up a project expected to take two years from August 2009.

The cyrogenic plant will help process 200 million cubic feet of natural gas daily.
