Norway-based winch-control outfit Odim declared Thursday it has won supply orders worth NOK50 million ($9.8 million) “in recent days” for automated systems to handle offshore survey equipment.
The kit is due to be delivered in by March 2009.
Odim’s growth has been explosive since first showing its kit to anchor-handling builders less than five years ago. The company develops and sells automated cable handling systems and winches, and extends its markets to the defence sector.
