Fulkrum Technical Resources, a global provider of technical personnel specialising in QA/QC, inspection and vendor surveillance services to the energy industry, has expanded its Asia-Pacific business with the launch of an office in Kuala Lumpur.

The office will provide advanced support and services to clients located in the region, becoming an extension of Fulkrum’s global network of offices which includes the US, Europe and the Middle East. This new base is set to become a focal point and knowledge hub for all of Fulkrum’s project activities taking place in Asia-Pacific.

The launch of this office marks a strong end to 2017 and creates a platform for further growth in 2018. Fulkrum plans to open further branches in the region over the next 12 months and beyond, including a base in China.

Ryan Tandy, Fulkrum’s regional manager for Asia-Pacific says, “We see a lot of opportunities in this market over the coming years and I’m excited to increase our footprint and raise our profile across Asia-Pacific. Our new regional hub in Malaysia will be an integral part of this expansion, and will help us to continue delivering the highest quality services and solutions to our clients.”

Commercial director Owen Gibbons adds, “We are pleased to reach this significant milestone and work even closer with our existing client base in the region, whilst offering our services to new, prospective customers. This new base is an exciting development in the Fulkrum journey, and we look forward to combining our global experience and track record with an on-the-ground presence in Malaysia. Our team works in close collaboration with our loyal customers and we are confident that despite the current market conditions, we will continue to grow.”
