BW gas sells liquid gas carrier

BW Gas Berge Denise

BW Gas has sold its partly owned, 24,000-cubic-metre liquefied petroleum gas carrier BW Hebris "for further trading" and has received a 10 percent deposit, the company said Thursday.

"The sales price is $20 million and BW Gas will book a net gain on sale of about $10 million in the first quarter of 2009, when the vessel is delivered," a statement said.

Some $3 million of the net gain is undestood to belong to minority owners.
