A business of Oslo-based offshore pump and instrumentation company Bjørge has won 19 million kroner ($2.7 million) in orders for StatoilHydro’s Gjøa project offshore Norway.
Bjørge Teamtrade deliveries will include valves, instrument pipe and connections by year-end 2009. The company expects its framework deal with StatoilHydro to bring 60 million kroner ($8.6 million) in orders.
Teamtrade was bought by Bjørge in April 2008 and the parent company quickly moved to integrate its own instrumentation department with the fused company.
The newly stiffened Bjørge Teamtrade has booked 140 million kroner ($20.1 million) in orders in just a year.
Another framework contract with BP for the Skarv project is seen producing work worth 40 million kroner by 2011.
