Global subsea equipment specialists, Ashtead Technology has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Brett Lestrange as UK regional director.
Bringing more than 25 years’ experience in the subsea industry, Lestrange will lead Ashtead’s UK sales and technical team to drive growth and support the company as it continues to innovate against a low oil price environment.
Based in Aberdeen, Lestrange joins Ashtead from HCS Control Systems where he held the position of chief executive officer and developed the business as a service-led subsea manufacturing company, expanding its customer base locally and internationally.
Prior to this, he was a founding partner of Frontrow Energy Partners and held a number of senior and technical positions at Expro Group, including head of subsea.
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Lestrange began his career in the oil and gas industry in 1992, when he joined Woodside Offshore Petroleum as a graduate engineer.
