Caza Oil & Gas has completed the exploratory well on its Eland Property located in Wharton County, Texas, and that sales gas from the well is now being delivered into a local gas gathering facility.
Eland Property - Located in Wharton County, Texas, the Hinton #1501 well, as previously announced, reached a total depth of 6,712 feet and was perforated in the Frio formation. The Hinton well is currently producing 603 thousand cubic feet of natural gas per day (at 1,720 psi on an 8/64" choke).
Caza is the operator of this well and has a 34.14% working interest and a corresponding 26.03% net revenue interest.
John McGoldrick, Executive Chairman of the Company, commented, "We are pleased to be able to report the start of production from the Hinton #1501 well. This well is part of our ongoing exploration and development efforts in Wharton County, Texas. In addition, following our successful fundraise last week, we plan to increase our activities in other focus areas as well, notably: southeast New Mexico and the Permian Basin."
