Canamens Energy North Sea Limited has been offered participation in 5 Licences in the UK 25th Seaward Licensing Round.

The award of these Licences represents a major development in Canamens' involvement in the UK North Sea. Block 8/25b is Canamens' second license in the UK North Sea as operator and its first directly from a licensing round.

Commenting on these latest licensing awards, Canamens CEO Greg Coleman said: "We are delighted to be participating in these UK North Sea blocks. We are particularly pleased to have been awarded the operatorship of block 8/25b. We believe that the North Sea still has much to offer the UK in terms of further crude oil and natural gas exploration, development and production.
