BJ Services - InjectSafe chemical injection system

BJ Services Company has reported a number of personnel appointments and promotions within its pipeline services group.

Dave Drysdale was promoted to the position of area manager for the Northern Europe and West Africa (NEWA) region. Drysdale joined BJ Services from Norson in 2007 as the pipeline operations manager for NEWA and Nigeria. Since then, he has helped to expand the technical product line and bolstered the project management experience of the pipeline services group. With 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Drysdale is a member of the Institute of Incorporated Engineers. He received a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Robert Gordon University (RGU) in Aberdeen in July 2009. The Graduate Certificate in Project Management was launched by BJ Services and RGU in 2008.

Supporting Drysdale in the role of business development manager - NEWA and Nigeria is Pete Clenshaw. He also joined BJ Services as a result of the acquisition of Norson in 2007. Clenshaw has 20 years of sales and commercial experience in the industry, and served most recently as commercial manager for the pipeline services group in Aberdeen. His promotion further strengthens BJ Services’ objective of penetrating the pipeline services market in West Africa. Clenshaw will also work to develop the group’s technical and market position throughout the area.

Richard O'Dowd has been appointed to the position of executive account manager. He is focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with the Company’s clients in the NEWA and Nigeria area. O’Dowd’s industry experience will ensure that market intelligence is communicated and used effectively, especially for the purpose of submitting tenders and formulating effective business strategies.
