BG Group has declared the appointment of Vivienne Cox as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
Vivienne Cox is the former Executive Vice President of Gas, Power and Renewables and former Chief Executive of BP Alternative Energy. Vivienne worked for BP plc from 1981 to 2009, serving in a variety of posts in Britain and continental Europe ranging from supply and trading, to commercial, finance and exploration and renewable energy.
Commenting on the appointment, BG Group Chairman Sir Robert Wilson said: 'I am delighted to welcome Vivienne on to the BG Group Board. Vivienne's extensive experience and expertise, across many facets of the global energy industry, will be a valuable addition to our Board.'
