Archer Limited has announced that ConocoPhillips has awarded Archer a 5-year contract for the provision of Mechanical Wireline Services for the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The contract was awarded to Archer following a competitive tender process for ConocoPhillips’ well intervention services in Norway.
Archer has provided Wireline Intervention and Cased Hole Logging services for ConocoPhillips since 2009 and the current contract would have expired in January 2017. The new contract will commence on May 1, 2016 and will cover a period of five years until April 30, 2021.
