Alphastrut has been awarded a six figure contract with Det norske to provide raised access flooring on the Ivar Aasen Northern North Sea development.

The Alphastrut system will cover a total of 450m2 and was selected for its ability to offer a sub floor cable management system. Alphastrut is the only raised access flooring system in the world which allowed for the requirement of three layers of cable management, each separated by a 30mm gap, to aid air conditioning.

The system is being fabricated by SMOE in its Singapore yard and is expected to be integrated into the asset in Q1 2015. As part of the deal, Alphastrut will also provide on call support and training.
