AGR’s software portfolio is now in use in Aker BP’s Drilling & Well department for drilling activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
Aker BP has been a long standing client of AGR’s software solutions, having used both the P1™ and iQx™ on its projects for a number of years. The E&P company has recently made a number of acquisitions to strengthen its position on the NCS and now operates the Valhall, Ula, Ivar Aasen, Alvheim and Skarv fields.
AGR’s software solutions are focused on creating cost and well operational efficiencies through digital transformation.
Petter Mathisen, VP for AGR Software says, “We are very excited by Aker BP’s progress on the NCS and very proud to be considered a partner of choice, working closely alongside the well project team. We have been working with the operator since 2010 and look forward to continuing to work with them to support the digital transformation and automation of its operations.”
AGR’s P1™ software improves the accuracy of time and cost modelling throughout the project management process, from project selection, conceptual design right through to execution. It’s used to generate well time estimates and to build operational models.
iQˣ™ is designed to optimise well performance and drilling management by providing a data and knowledge management platform. The software has contributed to the success of BP Akers’ Ivar Aasen field by streamlining and standardising the operator’s process around collecting and analysing well data and operational experiences.
