Aggreko has appointed John Wilson as its new General Manager for the Nordic region. Based in Oslo, John will be responsible for further strengthening Aggreko’s business across Scandinavia.

As a Chartered Management Accountant with over 21 years in senior management positions, John brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has worked across a diverse range of sectors including food, textiles, services and engineering in the areas of finance, accounting, IT and general management. Before joining Aggreko, John was General Manager for UK & Ireland at Wayne, a GE Energy Business.

Originally from Scotland, John has worked extensively in the Nordics throughout his career, including three years in which he lived and worked in Sweden. This experience has given him a strong affinity with both Scandinavian culture and business practices.
