AEG Power Solutions has been selected to provide 25 UPS systems for the Tempa Rossa onshore oilfield in Italy.
The main engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the oil and gas central processing facility at Tempa Rossa is Tecnimont S.p.A., main subsidiary of Maire Tecnimont Group, industrial leader in the hydrocarbon industry with headquarters in Milan. Tecnimont has chosen AEG Power Solutions to provide the complete power supply solutions of the site, consisting of 4 DC UPS systems, 15 AC UPS systems and 6 combined AC and DC systems.
Tecnimont selected a combination of AEG Power Solutions’ Protect 8 UPS, its Protect 8 inverter, and the Protect RCS rectifier, which was specified as the TPRe (three-phase rectifier) model. AEG Power Solutions has also provided customized bypass panels, as well as Ni-Cd batteries and moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB) boxes for battery protection.
