Aberdeen-based IT software and services company, Adept Solutions, has secured a contract with Nexen Petroleum UK Limited.
The project will see Adept install its flexible hydrocarbon accounting system, Axis, into Nexen’s UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) operations.
The system – the only tool that allows operators to manage multiple product lifting regimes from numerous off-take points – encompasses a range of key functions, including stock management, forecast and actual production, calculation of partner lifting entitlements and lifting schedules.
