Aban Offshore signs contract for rig

Aban Offshore has signed a contract with Exxon Neftegas Ltd for the deployment of the Murmanskaya jackup offshore Russia for a two well program.

The contract has an estimated duration of 160 days and is valued at approximately US $34 million.

The deployment is scheduled to start in June once the rig completes operations for Husky offshore China.
