Petrobras and partners Norse Energy and Queiroz Galvão Perfurações have hit 232 metres of net pay at a fifth well developing the Manati site offshore Brazil, it was learned Wednesday.
Final logging of the well done at total depth of 1,538 metres showed a well similar to the hydrocarbon cache which transformed company fortunes.
“Gross pay was more than 345 m,” a statement said, just as with the other four wells.
The well will be tied in to the Manati offshore facilities of the shallow-water Rio Grande do Norte basin.
