Petrobras reports situation in Bolivia

Petrobras announces that on May 1st the Bolivian government unilaterally issued a decree which substantially modifies the regulatory conditions and the operations of the energy sector in Bolivia.

Petrobras wishes to inform that it is currently examining the actions of the Bolivian government in order to take all possible measures to ensure the supply of gas to the Brazilian market and to safeguard the Company’s rights.

The Company will maintain the market notified as soon as any further material information comes to light.
