Fisher Offshore has completed a £2million investment programme as part of a move which has brought fluid solutions to the heart of the firm’s growing integrated offering.
The specialist in lifting, deck machinery, subsea tooling and excavation is targeting further growth and new markets as the next stage of its development gathers momentum.
As part of that strategy Buchan Technical Services (BTS), the offshore pump and reel specialist which has been part of the James Fisher and Sons group since 2007, will fall under the Fisher Offshore umbrella to form a new fluid solutions division.
The experienced BTS team has relocated to offices within Fisher Offshore’s headquarters at Oldmeldrum, with the yard and workshsop also part of the same complex, following the £2million investment in its equipment inventory.
