Tethys Petroleum Limited announced that Bernard Murphy, Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director, has notified the Board of his intention to retire at the end of January 2014 after 7 years with the Company. He will be replaced by Denise Lay, currently Deputy Chief Financial Officer, who has been with the Company since 2009.
Mr Murphy commented, "While I consider it a privilege to have worked with such a talented group of people dedicated to the success of Tethys, I feel that I have reached an age when it is time to focus on some personal non-career objectives. I would state that having worked closely with Denise for the last four years I have little doubt that she and her team will be more than capable of meeting both the current and future challenges as the Company pursues its ambitions."
